The turtle shell is made of polyester and features a shiny, dark green fabric as well as a screen printed turtle pattern. The shell attaches to the jumpsuit at the top with Velcro, and ties around the waist with a belt. The two brown elbow pads have a plush feel and secure around the elbow with Velcro.
